Dr. Robert Cosby is a clinical and forensic psychologist licensed in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Based in Spokane, Washington, his private practice focuses on federal and appellate matters, as well as complex criminal and civil litigation, and he has been recognized as a mental health expert in federal courts across multiple jurisdictions. Dr. Cosby also serves as a forensic evaluator with the Washington Office of Forensic Mental Health Services, where he conducts court-ordered evaluations and serves as assistant director of the forensic postdoctoral fellowship program.
Services
Dr. Cosby provides forensic psychological evaluations in adult criminal matters, including competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility and mental state at the time of the offense, sentencing mitigation, psychosexual evaluation, and violence risk assessment.
